Col & "Wilson" Well we are on the internet, a father's day pressie from our daughter, we still have our"L's" at the moment, but somehow we managed to pull up your site, so thought we would send a "hello" to you both, you sure are powering along and no doubt going through quite a few pairs of joggers & probably feet for "wilson". I believe you met up with a couple at Tennant Creek that were at our place in Mt. Colah on the night of your visit,he refers to himself as "the cowboy", they were thrilled to catch up with you as it was totally unexpected, which is always the best way. When we attended the Lions MD Convention in Adelaide last May, we mentioned to PDG Bob Dewell of our meeting and asked him to tell the convention members of your exploits so far, a very impressed audience and hopefully some donations ensued. We had some photos for your daughter and was hoping to give them to her when we visited Hahndorf, but alas didn't have any luck contacting her,I had forgotten to take her phone number with me & we only had a few hours there unfortunately, however we did chat to the local newsagent who seemed to know you quite well. I haven't spoken to u for a longggg time. As you know Luke and I have moved in to the new house and we're nearly completely settled, its taking a long time! We have a new phone number, i'll get Luke to SMS it to you from his mobile, which we have found the charger for, finally. Nanna and Grandpa phoned mum and dad's place while we were visiting/ raiding the fridge, and I have invited them to stay with us also. Hows this for a coincidence? I recently attended 3 cheers for Volunteers in Alice Springs, a program run during volunteers week by DCDASCA. Whilst there, a dinner was held and a guest speaker by the name of Hayden Cutting spoke about things he'd done; SANFL. I informed Jesse (TCTC S&R Officer) of your envolvment with SANFL and Jesse mentioned yourself and the upcoming event to him. We spoke the next day and Hayden asked me pass his regards and to let u know he'd driven past u on the Bruce Highway but was not able to stop, trying to keep a tight schedule and good luck. He too lives in the Adelaide Hlls. Some of the items for auction have arrived and everything at our end is coming along nicely, Dave Mills from the Lions Club here in TC will be MC. Just a few more things to sort out. Otherwise, Luke and I are keeping busy. There is never a dull moment, especially with the pup. I'm warning you now, the dog 'Stormy' is a little loopy and not learning quite as quickly as we'd like, so you may end up having to train the owners to train the dog. I'm still working at the Memo and the TC Council, Lukes enjoying BP and doing 4 nights on and 4 nigths off. The weather is getting cooler, i don't like it, and Lukes feeling it more than he thought he would! Fortunately we've had a little rain, we didn't get any during the expected months but better late then never. Its a sign of the change in weather thats occuring world wide! Looking forward to seeing you soon, keep safe and don't forget what civilisations like. Also, HI TO EVERYONE WHO HAS CONTRIBUTED TO COLINS CAUSE, KEEP IT UP and Eye Spy is too HARD. You and I are indirectly related, I am a cousin of Diana(your first wife) and I know Luke. I remember the terrible ordeal you both went through when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. My son John is only 12 months younger than Luke, and I remember visiting Aunty Margaret"s when Luke was a baby. So all the best for your run around Australia. <zah78@hotmail.com> Adelaide, South Australia AUS - Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 20:40:58 (CST) Hey Colin Steve here we wish all the best in your fight for cancer Steven Sams - http://www.gamingsa.com <cyanide@gamingsa.com> Adelaide, SA AUS - Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 19:22:31 (CST) Hope all is well with you Colin regardless of whether the Crows will come good or not!
